You can tell I was dating a movie hound when these came out...have seen all but five.....1987...what I remember of it ...it was a good year!
I was sixteen years old then! LOL Just could remember a few of these titles like Beverly Hills Cop II, Robocop, 3 Men and a baby. Goodness, I don't even remember the stories anymore. :)
There's sooooo much good trivia about these movies...people currently VERY popular that got their start in these movies.... duos that paired on and off screen, Tv actors that made their first movies, "fading" or unknown actors that got tv shows from these flicks, all sorts of tidbits! But, I guess in any one year of movies, there's always going to be juicy background stuff!
The Princess Bride, Overboard and The Lost Boys are by far the best movies on this list. A lot of good movies came out that year though.
About half the movies that came out that year are classics (full metal jacket, wallstreet, beverly hills cop 2, lost boys, etc)

Princess Bride! The book is fab as well. Actually, in my interview for HubPages, I was asked what my favorite movie is, and Princess Bride was one of the two I mentioned... I mean, I got the job, so...
